AC Milan coach: new name for the Rossoneri
In France they are not 100% convinced that Ralf Rangnick will be AC Milan’s next manager with a former PSG coach linked with the Rossoneri.
Ralf Rangnick is the chosen one of Elliott Management Corporation and Ivan Gazidis to lead AC Milan in the next season. Negotiations have been going on for some time now.
Several sources reveal that the agreement is practically finalized, but an official announcement will be made only at the end of the season in order to avoid distractions from Stefano Pioli and the squad. But there are also those who think that it is not yet done and leave the door open to other solutions for the Rossoneri bench.
From France, sports newspaper L’Equipe has included AC Milan among options of Laurent Blanc. The French coach has been without a team for three years, that is when he ended his experience in Paris Saint-Germain. Now he seems ready to return and is considering his options.
Laurent Blanc shocked the Ligue 1 when the won the title in 2008 with Bordeaux. Former Milan player Yoann Gourcuff gave a big helping hand in that achievement. He was latter coach of the French national team for two years before joining PSG where he dominated France for three season.
In addition to Milan, according to L’Equipe, there are six other possible destinations for Laurent Blanc: Schalke 04, Borussia Dortmund, Fenerbahce, Fiorentina, Newcastle United and Valencia. Obviously, it cannot be excluded that there are also other alternatives for the French coach who seems eager to get back into the game after years of stopping.
